Play the villain.
Do not become one.
Effective August 18, 2026 · Applies to aliases, guilds, messages, reports, and every player-facing system.
1. Fiction stays fictional
Project Vice contains fictional crime, corruption, violence, and coercion mechanics. Players may roleplay within those systems. Real-world threats, instructions for wrongdoing, targeting, stalking, extortion, or attempts to obtain another person’s private information are prohibited.
2. No harassment or hate
Do not use aliases, guild names, messages, or coordinated gameplay to harass, demean, or intimidate people based on protected characteristics or real-world identity. Competitive retaliation inside normal mechanics is allowed; personal abuse is not. Global, help, trade, city, and allegiance channels are moderated and are not private. Do not share personal or sensitive information.
3. Fair play
Do not automate gameplay, exploit defects, manipulate requests, operate coordinated duplicate accounts, trade accounts, or access administrative and player data without authorization. Report vulnerabilities privately through Support.
4. Privacy and impersonation
Do not publish personal information, impersonate staff or another player, or falsely claim administrative authority. Public aliases must not suggest an official Project Vice role unless assigned by staff.
5. Enforcement
Staff may warn, rename, restrict, mute, suspend, or remove accounts; delete messages; reverse gains; preserve evidence; and rebalance systems. Serious safety issues may be escalated when legally required. Administrative interventions are logged.
6. Appeals
Use the Support page and select “Player conduct” or “Account.” Explain the decision you are appealing and provide relevant context. Repeated duplicate requests may be closed.
